The Beauty of the Beach




Sunsets in lavender and rose
Soothing balmy breezes
Palm trees silhouetted
Shadows marching toward the horizon
Cool hard packed sand under foot
Huge bonfire blazing in the dark
Salty ocean breeze ruffling my hair
Caressing my warmed flesh
Night settling on us like a lovers embrace
Bright stars twinkling in the midnight blue sky
As the flames dance and flicker
Warning the sand and the air around
Illuminated by silvery moonbeams
Soft surf lapping at the beach
The breeze sweetly scented with hibiscus
The beauty of the beach at night
Seducing us, our mind filled with sensations
Our body responding to the stimuli
Reveling in the beauty around us.
