Scenes From The Beach
Gentle waves caressing the shore
Light breeze blowing against me
Soft morning light, breaking the dawn
The morning stillness full of tranquility
Breathing deeply of the serenity
Skipping and dancing through the waves
Joyous laughter floating through the air
Cool water lightly lapping at my feet
Soft sand sliding between my toes
Running across the cold wet sand
Combing the beach for shells
Collecting the shells as keepsakes
Building sandcastles on the beach
Decorating the castle with shells
Waiting for the waves to crash into it
Dancing giddily down the beach
Prancing and preening
Giggling happily as I play
Falling asleep in the shade
Listening to the sounds of the beach.
